Job Summary: | The Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator will work to reduce the burden of injury, improve the health of diverse populations, reduce or eliminate health disparities and improve trauma education through collaboration with trauma systems' partners, to include community and public health agencies, schools, pre-hospital EMS providers, Fire and Police agencies and other healthcare professionals throughout the region. The Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator must be able to bring together and work across multiple disciplines to maintain comprehensive Injury Prevention Programs. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
NYS licensed/registered RN (or eligible), Associate's degree in Nursing (or higher) and a minimum of 5 years post licensure acute care RN experience (preferably in Trauma Care) required. Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Bachelors degree in Nursing (or higher) and one year of supervisory/management experience preferred. |

Days, Monday-Friday with occasional off shift |
