Manufacturing Engineer sought by Hologic, Inc. (Danbury, CT) Support existing product lines from a technical stand-point, including troubleshooting, developing & updating work instructions, performing time-studies, & managing routings. Up to 25% domestic & international travel to other Hologic locations & various & unanticipated supplier sites.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field +1 year of experience in an FDA controlled mfg environment. 1 year of experience must including 1 year of experience with each of the following: ISO-9001 & ISO-13485; Computer Aided Drafting to support dsgn change projects including creating solid models, test fixtures, tools & necessary drawings using Solidworks; Agile PLM & Oracle systems; Troubleshooting & root cause analysis experience with Electro-Mechanical systems; Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing; managing projects & coordinating cross-functional teams & task forces; Manufacturing processes & procedures; Lean Manufacturing principles; & creating routings & performing time studies to determine build time with FMI Kits, Assembly, & Sub-assembly stations.
