POLICE OFFICER 

Part Time

The Borough of Girard will accept applications from qualified applicants for the position of part time police officer.

· Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and must be certified under Act 120.

· Applicants must be available to work a flexible schedule.

· Applicants must have a High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license.

· Applicants are required to take a written examination, an oral interview and an agility test.

· Applicants must pass a stringent background check, a physical (including drug screening) and a psychological exam.

Starting hourly wage is $18.36. A fee of $15.00 is required for this examination, your application will not be accepted without the fee payment. Applications must be obtained at the Girard Borough Office, 34 Main Street, Girard, Pa, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications must be returned by 4:30PM, December 29, 2022. Electronic applications will not be accepted.
