Coordinator of Academic Intervention Services/ First Year Advisor

North Carolina Wesleyan College is seeking applications for a Coordinator of Academic Intervention Services/First Year Advisor in its Student Success Center. This position is responsible for: Advising first-year students. Instructing First Year Seminar sections. Coordinating the planning and implementation of academic enrichment programming for all students. Coaching students on academic probation and warning. Managing the campus academic early alert and retention system. Working in a collaborative capacity as needed with other. Student Success Center program initiatives.

Qualifications are as follows: Masters degree required in counseling, college student personnel, higher education administration, or other related area; minimum of 3 years of experience working in a higher education setting; experience or familiarity with services and developmental models involved with advising and academic support services
