Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Recovery Specialist Supervisor in the Hope Center program at Behavioral Health Network! 

 

**NOTICE**

In accordance with the BHN Mandatory COVID vaccine policy - all staff, interns, temps, residents and contractors are required to be fully vaccinated no later than day one of employment. Medical or religious exemptions will be offered and must be approved prior to starting work.

The same guidelines noted above apply during flu season (defined as December 1st – through end of flu season as announced by the CDC) for BHN’s Mandatory Influenza Vaccine policy.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Hope Center program with the following:

  • Leading a team of Recovery Specialists and taking part in the process of guiding the mission and vision of the Hope Center.
  • Scheduling, coaching, training, and hiring Recovery Specialists.
  • Resolving personnel issues and providing supervision and support to the Hope Center team.
  • Collaborating with nursing leadership to identify educational and clinical needs of the recovery specialist staff.
  • Facilitating the development and implementation of educational programs for individuals served, as needed.

Job Requirements:

What are we looking for in a Recovery Specialist Supervisor?

  • Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration (required).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • At least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment (required).
  • At least two years of supervisory experience (preferred).
  • CNA, LADC II or LADC III (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Assistants) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to understand, empathize, and work with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders.
  • Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations (required).
  • Proficient use of the EMR system, word processing and email system.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
