Overview

Over the past 2 years, we have made strides in overhauling the services we offer to our clients, and are looking for more great employees to assist in the growing demand for our services. As a Financial Planning Associate, you will play an essential role in the successful implementation of our goals.

 

The Financial Planning Associate supports one of our key programs—Financial Planning Services. You will help Investment Counselors assess client financial planning needs, organize and work on ad hoc projects, and help establish policies and procedures as we continue to develop our approach and our offerings. You'll handle research requests while building in-depth knowledge on a variety of topics such as social security, medicare, and insurance. You'll report directly to your team leader who will aid in your training and professional development. 

 

The Day-to-Day:

  • Prioritize and respond to Investment Counselor requests for assorted Financial Planning Services (including estate planning, tax planning, and insurance)
  • Evaluate requests against predetermined qualifying criteria, and identify specific client needs and appropriate resources for support
  • Help build 3rd-party networks to support our service offerings
  • Communicate and coordinate processes with Investment Counselors and 3rd-party vendor while elevating concerns
  • Report on feedback and request trends to the management team
  • Help with ad hoc projects, such as: training program logistics, lag time analysis, group event planning, 3rd-party referral vetting, and more

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrate a strong client focus
  • Commitment to maintain quality of work while sticking to a timeline
  • Enjoy building process improvements
  • Are able and willing to oversee major projects
  • Have shown proficiency in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • U.S. candidates must be fully vaccinated as defined by the medical community against COVID-19 and provide proof of such vaccination by date of hire
