Job Summary: Responsible for the daily operation for inpatient rehabilitation therapy staff at downtown and community campus; administers all aspects of patient's care and management in compliance with department policies and procedures; assists in administering the department Quality Improvement Program within PM&R. Coordinates and participates in the interviewing, orientation and training of all staff and students as needed in regards to Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy; interacts with medical staff regarding patients needs; assists with updating and recommending development of revised/new policies and procedures; organizes and coordinates activity in specialty treatment areas; serves as member of Committees for department and University Hospital. Is responsible for informing clinical director of inter-working of specialty area. Supervision of this position is minimal; supervises subordinates.             
Minimum Qualifications:

NYS Licensed & Registered Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, degree required for licensure, and four years experience to include one year of leadership experience in specialty required. CPR-BLS certification required at time of appointment.

M - F 8AM - 4:30PM rotating holidays and weekends
