EMR (Electronic Medical Record) Programmer

Full-time.

Provide support to Clinic EMR by developing and designing forms, documents, programs, and maintaining basic programs on the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Further education or degree working with computers and software programs a plus.
• Experience with HL7, VFE, MEL language preferred.
• Experience with complex computer systems and software, including proficient knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Knowledge of GE desired.
• Medical Business office knowledge along with CPT and ICD 9 knowledge helpful.
• This position requires physical dexterity to operate keyboard and 10 key and the ability to sit for long periods and view terminal for long periods of time.
• Some bending, stretching or reaching is required.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Knowledge of computer functions and equipment.
• Skill in performing repetitive duties.
• Ability to communicate clearly.
