  • Maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan.
  • Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a complex medical equipment technologies and systems under minimal supervision of healthcare technology management (HTM)
  • Supervisor and/or senior professionals.
  • Assesses, monitors, and functionalizes inventory management processes to ensure locations business data attributes, and detail associated to operational and safety management.
  • Repairs and maintains a wide variety of general medical equipment to include high risk and critical care biomedical equipment.
  • Performs scheduled and nonscheduled PM checks on general biomedical equipment to include high risk and critical care biomedical equipment.
  • Central monitoring, Gas modules, OR equipment,,ETC.Assist Department in the Capital planning process.
  • Provide intermediate level technical support to clinical staff.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to HTM I.
  • Intermediate knowledge of cyber security risk and requirements.
  • Documents all activities as outlined within UH policies and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned to achieve HTM goals and objectives.
  • AAMI - ACI certification preferred (CBET/CLES), not required.
  • 3-5 years of biomedical equipment services experience.
  • Basic Electronics and/or Electro-mechanical knowledge;
  • General information Technology System Knowledge (Computer Repair, Application Installation, Networking, and security mitigation)
  •  Administrative and documentation Skills.
