Social Strategist

Remote-based position

 

As a Social Strategist with Advance Local, you'll develop the strategy, planning, deployment, and management of the top tier paid social media campaigns integrated into our clients' overall marketing plan. This includes all elements of campaign execution - from proposal research, competitive analysis, campaign strategies, ongoing performance monitoring, optimization, and performance analysis. While collaborating with our local sales teams and advertisers, you'll work towards increasing brand awareness or sales/conversions, while improving efficiencies.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee the inception, creation, development and execution of our top tier social media campaigns to ensure adherence to client goals and objectives, including but not limited to
  • Providing traffic estimates for new /existing clients to establish social budgets
  • Developing onboarding plans for new campaigns
  • Structuring campaigns to meet customer goals and KPI's
  • Translating client goals and objectives into specific actionable Social Media tactics
  • Providing campaign performance insights against key metrics and effectively communicate strategies and trends in client communications
  • Analyzing campaigns and proactively recommending opportunities to improve performance, meet/exceed conversion goals and lower cost per conversion metrics based on analysis and insights learned from historical campaign performance and grow client investment
  • Tracking and reporting on campaign results and take part in weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly client status calls
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing campaigns, particularly when there are drastic shifts in performance
  • Stay up to date on competitive trends and industry best practices
  • Serve as a paid social media expert, platform partner, and trend-spotter to bring first-to-market social and digital media opportunities that align with business objectives
  • Work with technology partners to troubleshoot and facilitate campaign performance.

 Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of three years' experience managing and optimizing social media campaigns using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, Tik Tok and/or Pinterest
  • Ability to handle 30+ accounts and $1,500,000 in annual revenue
  • Proven record analyzing campaign data, deriving actionable insights and acting on performance data, quickly, accurately and efficiently
  • Google Analytics, and Facebook Ads certification(s) preferred
  • Familiarity with SEO, website best practices, and/or other digital marketing channels preferred
  • A working understanding of Google Tag Manager and pixel implementation
  • Strong technical skills; Javascript knowledge a plus
  • Creative thinker, who is an assertive problem solver with an analytical mind
  • Ability to take ownership of account strategies and clearly communicate with the client
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage several clients, balancing several priorities and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Proven performance in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills
  • Passionate about social media marketing and eager to learn new skills while keeping up to speed with the latest industry developments
  • Strong understanding of Social Media best practices. Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and come up with unique ideas for creative content, messaging and campaigns
