Position Summary/Essential Duties:

The Rainbow Primary Care Behavioral Health Education Program aims to train pediatric primary care providers on the diagnosis and management of behavioral health issues, such as anxiety and depression.  Based on the Project ECHO model, the program uses video-conference technology and subject matter experts to educate primary care providers using a collaborative education approach of didactics and case presentations.  The Program Coordinator manages the various aspects of the program including:

  • Program Participants:  Recruitment of new program participants through email, information sessions and other media; primary contact and source of information for participants
  • Subject Matter Experts (Program Faculty):  Coordinates with program faculty to arrange for dates of presentation and support, collecting presentation materials ahead of time, preparing all sessions.  Manages Program Faculty stipends.
  • Attends all program sessions to help with administrative tasks.
  • CME: Coordinates with CWRU CME office for program credit; facilitates CME credit for program participants
  • Website: Coordinates website development and updates
  • Data: Enters and maintains all relevant data related to programs, participants and potential clinical information that may be used for research and reporting purposes.
  • Support services for the Medical Directors: Provides administrative support for program Medical Directors

Education.

Associates degree and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred, healthcare or business

 

Experience & Knowledge:

Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple projects. Completes tasks with minimal supervision.

Previous experience or exposure to community behavioral health preferred.

 

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

Excellent organizational and communication skills required. Must possess high degree of computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office and outlook; PowerPoint, Excel, and Zoom. Excellent customer service orientation.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Master of Public Health, experience in grant writing and research
