Planning Coordinator, North Strabane Township Washington County, PA

Résumés will be accepted by the Township Manager until April 27, 2018 for the position of Planning Coordinator. The planning coordinator will also serve as the assistant zoning officer. Position will be responsible for the effective administration of all federal legislation, state statutes and Township ordinances and resolutions pertaining to the areas of Township planning inclusive of land development, subdivisions, zoning regulations, storm water and flood plain management. The planning coordinator reports directly to the manager and performs both administrative and field-related activities. Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three years' experience in planning and zoning required. A master's degree in urban/regional planning and proficiency with ESRI GIS mapping software is preferred.
