Senior Cost Accountant sought by Hologic, Inc. (Danbury, CT) to complete in depth financial investigation of company plants by analyzing manufacturing process, system & financial flows, profit & loss, planning, & data. Requirements a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field & 3 years of experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment 3 years of experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: Operational & Cost Accounting, specifically with inventory; GAAP technical accounting concepts related to ASC 606; Financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory, & expense information as needed for decision making support; SOX 404 Compliance: validity & accuracy of monthly results, internal audit, & coordination with inventory control, production & work order processing; Cost efficiencies in new product layouts; & Providing management with reports specifying & comparing factors affecting prices & profitability of products or services.
