KENOSHA COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS CIVIL ENGINEER STUDENTS GRADUATING THIS MAY ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. Kenosha County is experiencing regional pace-setting growth and recognizes the vital role transportation infrastructure plays in our community's continued economic success. These positive conditions require us to add a Civil Engineer to our Public Works team. This position will perform a wide range of "hands-on" civil engineering and project assistance duties primarily for our Highways Division but will assist our other PW Divisions of Parks, Golf and Facilities. Gathering and providing technical data for a variety of civil engineering projects including but not limited to: highway construction, bridge construction/inspection, storm water management, traffic controls, bicycle and pedestrian accommodation, etc. will be essential. Qualifications: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and State of Wisconsin Professional Engineer License is preferred. Prior experience in a progressively responsible civil engineering position is essential. Experience in project management a plus. Physical ability to perform a range of field data acquisition activities. Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver's license, (CDL preferred). Starting salary is between $57,737 - $68,996 commensurate with experience. The County offers an excellent benefit package.
