City of Camden Public Works is looking for a Project Engineer/GIS Specialist to assist in the overall management, planning and direction of construction projects and related engineering activities. Will assist City personnel in the Public Works Department and other departments to include garage, parks, traffic control, streets, storm water management, sanitation, recycling, water, wastewater, electric, building inspections and planning. Duties will also include providing daily management of the City's GIS and field data collection. Reports to the Deputy Director of Public Works. Requires Bachelor's degree in engineering, GIS or related field with a minimum 4 years' experience in public works/utilities operations and/or civil engineering or construction inspection, and GIS/GPS operation. However, a combination of education and significant other relevant experience will also be considered. A South Carolina Registered Professional Engineer is preferred, but not required.
