CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER for Bay Mills Indian Community. Salary is Negotiable and
includes a full benefit package with liberal leave policy. Must have at least 12-15yrs of broad financial experience, ideally in Tribal Government operations which includes casinos.
Experience in managing
accounting/finance functions (accounting, budgeting, internal control, and reporting).
Must have a minimum of BS in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred; a CPA required.
Experience in Tribal
Government operations
including in-depth
understanding of OMB Circular A-133 & A-87 as well as GAAP, GASB. Experience with Tribal Casino accounting and financial reporting as well as National
Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) requirements.
Experience in directing, training and developing of accounting personnel; in developing,
maintaining and monitoring
effective internal controls in Tribal government and casino environments, developing and maintaining banking and
investing relationships.
Experience in financial
accounting software and
systems to supply the most
accurate financial information. Must have excellent
communication skills and past work history demonstrated through employment
references. Must successfully pass all required criminal
background checks.
