Fuses polyethylene (HDPE plastic) pipe to meet customer needs; trains customers in use of electro-fusion and safe operation of fusion equipment; assists with shipping, provides basic troubleshooting of field equipment and may perform the following duties. High School diploma or GED; working knowledge of basic hand tools; ability to read and interpret line drawings and basic measurements. Position requires maintaining a valid driver's license; regular travel by car and occasional overnight/extend days travel required Physical Demands and Work Environment - Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds; and frequently exerting 25 pounds of force to move objects. Frequent stooping, crouching, reaching, climbing or balancing and walking are required. While performing this job the individual is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and exposed to outdoor weather conditions; frequently exposed to non-weather high heat; and occasionally exposed to humid conditions, The work environment exposes individual to loud noises from moving equipment and machines in a plant environment Travel Required: 75-80% of the month travel. Most weekends home.
