The news business never stops, and it gears up early in the morning! The Lincoln Journal Star, a Lee Enterprises, Inc. publication is seeking a Route Manager to support company objectives. This critical position works closely with independent contractors and other members of management to ensure the daily, effective, efficient and timely delivery of newspapers and other media, works to resolve problems with contractors, customers and supervisors as well as analyze, design, and implement formation of routes on an on-going basis to meet service criteria in the most cost effective manner. Communication with team members is key!

Are you ready?

Can you solve problems, resolve conflict and are deadline driven? Are you analytical, strategic, and possess excellent customer service skills? Are you able to recruit, screen, select contractors and administer their contracts? Can you meet service deliverables? Are you proficient in MS Office including Excel and Word? If so, this may be the role for you. Reliable transportation, current driver's license, auto insurance and a satisfactory motor vehicle record is required.

This position pays a base of $40,000 annually and a monthly bonus based on meeting performance benchmarks.
