Job Offered: Controller

Education and Experience Required:

MA in Accountancy, + 1 year related experience.

Job Duties:

• Report to Chief Executive Officer.

• Assist CEO in the development, implementation and institution of financial accounting controls in areas of budget, expenditure, income and operations.

• Train and direct one subordinate accountant on policies, processes and procedures.

• Administer income and expense budgets for departments, including coordinating with department heads.

• Supervise preparation and monitoring of monthly budget.

• Evaluate budget system for thoroughness, reliability and efficiency.

• Propose to CEO changes to budget system.

• Ensure expenditures properly approved and incurred, consistent with established expenditure policies/procedures.

• Income Control direction through ensuring all income properly earned, recognized and received.

• Operations control direction through review of wiring devices and lighting control sales and distribution.

• Ensure accounting controls and reporting are consistent with GAAP.
