Farm Labor Bus Driver

Sierra-Cascade Nursery, Inc. is seeking qualified Farm Labor Bus Drivers. The main objective of this position is to transport farm labor workers from the housing camp to the worksite. Farm Labor Bus Drivers are needed for Harvest, from September through November. Rate of pay is $15/hour for Non-driving time and $30/Hr for Driving time plus a potential bonus upon completion of Harvest.

We are seeking qualified seasonal part-time individuals who are friendly, motivated, professional and dependable. Training and re-certification will be supported.

Primary responsibilities include:

· Drive locally, assisting with or completing unloading and loading at destination

· Disinfect/Sanitize your bus between loads

· Accurate completion of paperwork

· Work in a safe manner

· Good communication skills; team player

Qualifications:

· Valid California or Oregon Driver’s License

· Class A or B Driver’s License

· Passenger Endorsement required

· Farm Labor Endorsement required

· Medical Examination

· Experience driving a Conventional/Transit Bus

· Bilingual Spanish/English abilities preferred
