Bland County is seeking applicants for the following position: Victim/Witness Assistance Program Coordinator.
This is a full-time position with benefits including: paid vacation and sick leave; health, dental and vision insurance; Virginia Retirement System; paid holidays. Applicants are subject to criminal history background checks, drug testing, previous employment investigations, and character references. Combination of education and experience in criminal justice system preferred. Job requirements include aiding victims of various crimes, in and out of court, under the direction of the Commonwealth Attorney, grant writing and file maintenance. Must be able to travel for training and hold strict confidentiality professionalism.
