DynaMed is a leading online evidence-based point-of-care medical reference. It is a rapidly growing, comprehensive clinical decision resource that provides the most current and useful synthesized evidence with the quickest time-to-answer. 

The Senior Operations Assistant will be an important member of the DynaMed and EBSCO Clinical Decisions Media team. This Team handles procuring, creating, licensing, and publishing high-quality, clinically focused media in DynaMed. The Senior Operations Assistant will play a key role in ensuring that workflows are followed accurately to ensure successful publication of media content. They will be responsible for tracking media items from start to finish. This job is ideal for a candidate who is task and detail oriented, comfortable working with spreadsheets and is technically minded.  

The Senior Operations Assistant will work with various teams to ensure media is added to DynaMed in a timely manner. They will also work collaboratively with media team members to execute and complete multimedia-related projects within deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, implementation, and management of technical processes supporting clinically-oriented media
  • Maintain media asset database
  • Provide day-to-day operations support for DynaMed Media Team
  • Performing a range of specific editorial tasks within DynaMed, such as working in our content management system to embed and publish media
  • Liaise with content experts
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel etc.
  • 2 years’ experience with SharePoint
  • Ability to learn new software programs
  • Ability to complete assignments efficiently
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Ability to consistently see tasks through to completion
  • Attention to detail
  • Communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to problem-solve and independently engineer solutions for complex processes
  • Ability to multi-task and provide responses to high priority requests
  • Ability to quickly assess scope and priority of requests
  • 1 year of experience with XML authoring software, such as Oxygen Author
