Ornelas Harvesting, Inc., Reidsville, GA is now hiring 104 temporary Farm Workers to work in Tattnall, Toombs and Candler Counties, GA from 11/2/2016 to 12/20/2016. Hourly wage of $10.59 or piece rates ranging from $1.25/ 30 bundle bag 100 plants to a bundle to $2.50/ 100ft. 4 ply row bed, whichever is higher. Perform manual labor to plant Vidalia onions and harvest and field pack broccoli by hand. Perform prolonged walking, bending, reaching, stooping, lifting, carrying and loading up to 60 lbs. Most job duties require workers to work in extremely cold or wet weather. One month of verifiable farm work experience required. Three quarters of an average of 40 hrs./wk guaranteed. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.
