Primary Responsibilities: 

• Leads process to identify root cause and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 
• Assists other team member in meeting plant and company objectives. 
• Designs and implements new process changes within the facility by analyzing workflow. 
• Works with metallurgical technical personnel to optimize processes to ensure quality, manufacturing, productivity and efficiencies. 
• Provides clear and concise documented standard operating procedures on key processes. 
• Applies proven engineering knowledge and practices in a metallurgical environment to improve operating performance and reduce waste, delays and costs. 
• Develops and implements and of key reliability metrics to measure performance. 
• Provide daily quality support to production staff, recommends and oversees improvements through the implementation of new processes. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: BS in Engineering (manufacturing, mechanical, metallurgical, materials
science or industrial) Minimum of 5 years in process/quality engineering preferably in
metal processing environments Ability to work independently with very limited
supervision
Self Starter with change agency mentality
Sense of urgency and results oriented
Strong problem-solving, training , organizational, documentation, computer, and
mentoring capabilities Strong team-building, people management, and decision
making skills

Preferred Skills
● Knowledge: plant facilities and equipment, plant and laboratory safety procedures and
processes
