Position Summary | Under the general direction of the Chief Student Services Officer or designee, the Director of EOP&S will be responsible for the planning, development, administration and leadership for a group of student success programs including the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOP&S), Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE), and related programs at Cosumnes River College. The Director is responsible for implementing and maintaining compliance with Title 5 policies and procedures. The director is responsible for hiring, training and supervising full-time and part-time faculty, staff, and temporary employees. The director works in collaboration with counseling, library services, tutoring services, academic departments, financial aid, outreach and other student support programs to provide comprehensive and holistic support for students. The director is also responsible for ensuring the assigned programs and services are equity-centered and meet the unique needs of students they are designed to serve. |
