Currently hiring a Career Specialist for two openings.

Responsibilities include:

• Performs case management including interviewing and assessing job seeker customers for services.
• Conducts group orientations, facilitates job readiness workshops and employment planning sessions for customers.
• Verify eligibility and enroll eligible applicants in appropriate services.

Applicants are required to meet the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate disciplines preferred.
• Work Experience in case management, counseling, social service programs, employment, or training is required.
• A combination of higher education and one or more years of required work experience
• One or more years of experience in facilitating group orientations and job search skills workshops preferred.
• Must possess demonstrated proficiency in both verbal and written communications, basic computer skills, and following specific guidelines.
• Bi-lingual is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.  Occasional local travel using personal vehicle required.
