Nursing Director

Summit County is seeking an experienced professional looking to make a difference in a region that takes pride in our Public Health programs. This is an excellent career opportunity to direct the Nursing Division of the Summit County Health Department. Works under the direction of the Director of Public Health or the Director's designee. Responsible for division fiscal control, personnel management, program planning, operations, evaluations, and the delivery of quality public health nursing services and programs to county individuals, families, and communities within the Summit County health district. Provides general supervision to nurse practitioner, registered nurses, clinical assistant(s), clinical aide(s), and clerical staff involved in the public health programs.

Salary Range: $76,498.47 - $107,222.45/annually

Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited College or University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree in Nursing or Public Health preferred. Five (5) years' experience in Public Health Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a Registered Nurse License in the State of Utah and be in good standing or able to acquire such licensure within 90 days from date of hire. Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License. Must be CPR and AED certified within 90 days from date of hire. We offer a generous benefits package with options for a premium free health plan, dental plan, and life insurance.
