JOB OVERVIEW
Accurate physical receiving of material/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory and quality of incoming goods. Verifies products received are as ordered and routes incoming product to appropriate outlets. Restock dry storage/coolers and freezer with remaining delivery. Keeps coolers and storage areas clutter free and clean at all times.

STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: 

·         Able to lift heavy objects up to 150 lbs. several time a day.

• Assist in unloading of shipments from delivery tucks
• Check shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for and ordered.
• Ensure that stock room and coolers are restocked and cleaned throughout the shift.
• Accurate pulling of outlet requisition and transporting the product to the appropriate outlet.
• Report all discrepancies to purchaser.
• Maintain material handling equipment.
• Disposes of all trash & recyclables in proper containers and keeps container area clean and free of obstructions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/ Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of Shipping and receiving practices and procedures.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and minor food handling procedures.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in an at times noisy environment.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.

• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand Basic English.
