Foundations Writer. The Southern Environmental Law Center is seeking an experienced professional with excellent writing skills, time- and project-management skills, a collaborative approach, and strong interest in environmental issues to write proposals and reports to the foundations, families, and individuals who fund our impressive law and policy work. Located in Southern Environmental Law Center's Charlottesville headquarters, this is a central position working in close partnership with our founder/CEO, 70+ attorneys, and fundraisers to help shape and articulate this organization's law and policy goals, action plans, and benchmarks through powerful, polished, customized packages that engage, educate, and inspire our generous supporters. Southern Environmental Law Center's development/marketing department is a fun, interesting, satisfying place to work-fast-paced, coordinated, successful, and deeply integrated with Southern Environmental Law Center's environmental protection mission. Strong academic and work credentials and at least 5 years of relevant experience required.
