Job Summary:

Performs secretarial duties for the Pediatric division including but not limited to;

  • scheduling appointments and relaying messages via Epic EMR, preparing charts, scanning and faxing in a fast paced environment.
  • Works closely with physician, patients, residents, secretarial team and management to facilitate effective communication among all parties.
  • Utilizes knowledge of medical processes and office procedures at all times.
  • Works closely with Supervisor and Secretarial Team to ensure divisional coverage.
  • Provides direct support to the Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon.

Other duties as needed and assigned by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and two years of administrative/office management experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

EMR Experience preferred.  Orthopedic practice knowledge preferred.
Work Days:

M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
