About South Plains Rural Health Services


South Plains Rural Health Services is committed to providing comprehensive health care to patients of all ages. Located in Levelland, Lamesa, and Big Spring, Texas, the center addresses every single health care need their patients may have.

There’s no need to book appointments at multiple practices or travel out of the way to fill a prescription! SPRHS is a full-service family health care center that can address all of the basic health care needs of our patients, including medical, dental, behavioral health and physical therapy services. South Plains Rural Health Services is an FTCA deemed facility.

The on-site pharmacy provides a convenient place to pick up prescriptions. Immunizations and laboratory services are also available.

SPRHS accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private health insurance plans. They also serve individuals that are not covered by health insurance. Patients are charged for services on a sliding fee scale based on the household size and income. In accordance with federal regulations, proof of income must be provided for the patient to be eligible for any sliding fee discount on services.

The center’s highly qualified staff includes Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Dentists, Dental Hygienist, and Licensed Counselors. Patients of all ages are welcome! The center provides pediatric services, so even the youngest family members receive top-quality care.

The center is committed to providing care to all patients, regardless of economic status.
