Town of Randolph Seeks Director of Community Programs. This position is responsible for leading the Recreation and Elder Affairs Departments in addition to overseeing the Randolph Intergenerational Community Center.

This position works under the direction of the Town Manager in accordance with state laws and regulations. The Director develops and monitors the Elder Affairs General Fund, Recreation Revolving Fund, and Community Center Revolving Fund Budgets; coordinates major community events including the Night Before the 4th Parade, Harvest Hoopla, Winterfest, and Senior Olympics; develops and implements marketing strategies for all community programs; oversees the Randolph Community Pool, Zapustas Ice Arena, Randolph Intergenerational Community Center, Powers Farm, Imagination Station Playground, and Summer Recreation Programs; coordinates all programs and events at Powers Farm, the Randolph Community Pool, and summer camps; meets regularly with the Community Center Director and Staff to ensure continued operations and attends or delegates attendance to relevant community engagement meetings throughout the Town.

The Director Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field; five to seven years  management in public recreation, elder services, or closely related field; One to two years’ experience working in a community recreation facility desired but not required; experience managing large scale events/programs in a community setting and ability to multitask, and provide courteous customer service to the public

Salary range 74,903-98,565 plus benefits.
