Job Description

This position analyzes student transcripts and syllabi from multiple external colleges and universities. Verifies the authenticity of transcripts from other universities. Researches transfer institution accreditation and credit system (quarter, semester, etc.). Works with faculty to determine transfer credit equivalencies. Analyzes and monitors course reviews to ensure evaluation decisions are made in a timely manner. Creates the official articulation information in the Banner student information system. Researches and resolves credit evaluation issues. Ensures compliance with state, and University requirements. Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers regarding transfer credit policies and related procedures. Maintains Banner transfer credit rules. Awards appropriate transfer credit earned through prior leaning exams. Responds in a timely manner to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff related to transfer credit, duplication of credit, and various academic policies. Oversees transfer credit in the Agriculture Technology Program.

Required Qualifications

•Demonstrated experience with high volume customer service in an academic or professional environment
•Strong computer skills such in data entry, spreadsheets, and database management
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to meet deadlines and pay constant attention to detail
•Able to prioritize workload with excellent time management skills
•Work experience in a related field
•Ability to understand, explain, and apply complex policies and regulations
•Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced office while managing multiple assignments

Preferred Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•Experience conducting internet research
•Experience working with confidential information
•Experience directing the work of others
•Experience in the practices related to transfer articulation and statewide policies that govern its practice and implementation
