Director, Financing and Risk Solutions sought by The Royal Bank of Scotland (Stamford, CT) to serve as lead U.S.-based banker for a portfolio of Investment Grade Consumer, Industrials, & Services clients, with mandate to support U.K.-based banking strategy, in accordance with overall institutional policies & plans. 40 hours per week. Must have Bachelor's degree in Bus, Banking, Marketing, Management, Finance or related field; post-academic corporate or investment banking qualification, such as FINRA Series 79 or UK Chartered Banker qualification; & 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with in corporate or investment banking industry. Full term of required experience must involve: Utilizing knowledge of credit & risk metrics, & governance to identify & originate transaction opportunities for assigned portfolio in support of overall institutional UK banking strategy & utilizing UK banking products, including trade finance, cash management, supply chain fin & invoice finance; ensuring delivery of fin performance with in acceptable risk parameters, maximizing RoE by delivering revenue, & managing cost, capital & risks; developing transaction structures that are structurally sound & appropriately negotiated & documented; & reviewing & analyzing corporate financial statements, demonstrating fluency in GAAP & IFRS standards. At least 5 years of required experience must involve leading origination strategy, developing new bus concepts & articulating defined plans for engagement w/ current & prospective clients & internal stakeholders by drawing upon depth of knowledge of client base to generate & lead on viable opportunities.
