Chief Financial Officer

Allen Organ Company seeks a CFO to join our team. This position reports to the President. The CFO is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day processing and activities of the company's Accounting Department, overseeing month end closings and preparing monthly consolidated financial statements, account analysis, and management reports. The CFO is responsible for financial management and strategic planning for the company.

Responsibilities Include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise accounting functions and team.
  • Perform month end close and record journal entries.
  • Responsible for financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually) including reports to upper management and account analysis.
  • Prepare annual tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents; work with outside accountants and auditors.
  • Monitor cash balances and ensure bank reconciliations are completed.
  • Monitor customer credit and customer relationships for timely payments.
  • Oversee administration of benefit programs i.e. HSA, FSA, Health Insurance Renewal.
  • Process executive payroll.
  • Oversee administration of the 401k plan.
  • Prepare and submit government surveys and census data requests.
  • Maintain company credit card program.
  • Perform calculations and analysis of overhead costs/product costs.
  • Manage recordkeeping of sales commissions, sales order reports/analysis, and sales tax returns.
  • Maintain corporate records and annual board of director meeting minutes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree in accounting or related field.
  • BFive (5) years relevant experience.
  • BAbility to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • BThorough knowledge of general accounting systems.
  • BProficiency in Excel.
  • BEffective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • BExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

CNC Machine Operator/Metal Shop

Allen Organ Company seeks a CNC Machine Operator to work in the Metal Shop Department at our location in Macungie, PA. The schedule is 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. We offer a competitive package for qualified individuals. Join our team today!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up and perform operations on the CNC Lathe, Brake Press, and Turret Punch Press machines to specifications of work orders and drawings/prints.
  • Must be able to read drawings for accurate and safe machine operation.
  • Must be flexible to operate additional smaller machines in the department as needed.
  • Must be able to utilize measuring devices to ensure operations are run within the required tolerances.
  • Must follow all safety rules regarding machine operation, proper guarding, and machine safety.
  • Must be capable of working to a high level of accuracy and perform inspection of work as operator goes through each step in the process.
  • Complete work assignments as assigned by Department Supervisor.
  • Must cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operate degreaser machine as needed.
  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the department to include but not limited to safety glasses and ear plugs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a machine operator or completion of vocational technical school training program.

  • Strong math skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime if needed.
  • Operator must sit, stand, and bend during the shift.
  • Must be able to use vision to perform job.
