Job Purpose:

• Improves customer comfort conditions by installing new and replacing existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in both residential and light commercial settings.

Duties:

• Builds comfort systems by installing air handlers, condensing units, package equipment, duct work, refrigerant tubing, and related components; completes high and low voltage power connections. 
• System start up and commissioning including verifying refrigerant charge, confirm settings and temperature difference 
• Keeps tools and company vehicle operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. 
• Documents actions by completing equipment records and service orders. 
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
