Job Description

• Maintains NFAM/Aero Med aircraft, including inspections, repairs, parts replacement, and servicing. Performs diagnostic evaluations on aircraft.
• Conducts regular reviews and performs preventive maintenance. Documents maintenance activities. Ensures that required documentation for activities within areas of responsibility is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Procures materials for repair needs. Maintains an inventory of aircraft spares necessary to minimize downtime.
• Participates in process improvement activities. Collaborates with other personnel to decrease costs and increase efficiencies.
• Supervises and oversees the work accomplished by the technician 1 A&P maintenance staff and maintenance contractors.
• Demonstrates commitment to patient and team member safety. Considers safety as the primary factor in all decisions.

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent

• 5 years of relevant experience turbine aircraft or related field Required
• 10 years of relevant experience turbine aircraft Preferred
• Composite repair training Preferred
• Multi-engine aircraft experience Preferred
• Experience with RADS vibration equipment / sophisticated test equipment / power tools Preferred
• Experience operating ground support equipment including fuel truck, snow plow, tow tractor, and fork lift Preferred
• Versed in filling out FAA form 337 Preferred
• Experience with Excel spread sheets Preferred
• Utilized computers in previous work settings Preferred
• Familiar with navigation database downloads Preferred

• CRT-FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics (A&P) - Upon Hire required
• CRT-Inspection Authorization (IA) - FAA Federal Aviation Administration Upon Hire required
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
