Job Summary: The Biomedical Engineer provides a high level of technical support, focusing on high end complex devices and medical device systems, including repair, inspection, installation planning, technical evaluations and incident investigations. The Biomedical Engineer also supports management in the training and cross-training of lower level technical staff as part of the overall department's goal to develop staff professionally, as well as the possibility of supervision of technical staff.  
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or related technical field and 7 years as a biomedical engineering technician, plus trained and proficient at servicing at least 7 complex electronic or electro mechanical patient care devices, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Working knowledge of MS Office and relational databases preferred.  **Candidates with less than a Bachelors degree and 7 years experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) will be considered for a lower level position at commensurate title and salary.
