The Upper Merion Township Police Department will be conducting a written examination for the position of Probationary Police Officer on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

Act 120 not required.

Test Location: Upper Merion Middle School, 450 Keebler Road, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Time will be determined by the number of test sessions required to accommodate all applicants.  Applicants arriving for the incorrect session or late for their assigned session will not be admitted.

Test Information: All applicants must present a photo drivers license and bring two sharpened #2 lead pencils. No weapons, phones, food or drinks will be allowed in the test site.

Selection Process:

• The top 75 written test scores equal to or greater than the median score or 75%, which ever is greater, will be notified to proceed to the physical fitness qualification on May 19, 2018.
• Physical Fitness Standards are posted in communications center. They are also available at the Municipal Police Officers Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) web site.
• Graduation standards of the 50th percentile age & gender adjusted rankings are used for the physical fitness qualification.
• Applicants successfully completing the physical fitness portion will be scheduled for oral interviews.
