Qualifications:
Required: High School diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Knowledge of storeroom activities and/or Environmental Services supplies and equipment. Ability to use a computer and assigned software to perform essential functions of the position. Ability to learn or general understanding of basic electrical/mechanical repair. Preferred: Experience with computers, word processing, Excel and data entry. Experience in storeroom activities to include conducting physical inventories, establishing material codes, purchasing materials directly from vendors, and operating storeroom computer software. Experience with electrical repair. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to climb intermittently during the day. Ability to push/pull 70-150 pounds. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Requires some exposure to chemicals, bioburden, and cleaning products.
