Summary: 

Maintains and repairs floor machine equipment in accordance with standards and performs preventive maintenance as needed. Ensures the proper operation and preventive maintenance of Environmental Services baler. Receives and verifies departmental supplies and equipment entering the facility, accurately stores stock items in the proper locations, picks and stages stock orders accurately and neatly, and delivers supplies to the correct areas in a timely and efficient manner. Keeps the work area neat at all times. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.

Qualifications:

Required: High School diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam. Knowledge of storeroom activities and/or Environmental Services supplies and equipment. Ability to use a computer and assigned software to perform essential functions of the position. Ability to learn or general understanding of basic electrical/mechanical repair. Preferred: Experience with computers, word processing, Excel and data entry. Experience in storeroom activities to include conducting physical inventories, establishing material codes, purchasing materials directly from vendors, and operating storeroom computer software. Experience with electrical repair. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Ability to climb intermittently during the day. Ability to push/pull 70-150 pounds. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Requires some exposure to chemicals, bioburden, and cleaning products.
