Senior staff level corporate accounting position in a large healthcare system setting.

o             Financial statement analysis

o             GAAP analysis and technical investigation of accounting issues

o             Complex account reconciliations including key accounts

o             Post  journal entries

o             Bank statement reconciliations

o             Budget preparations

o             Compile statistics

o             Learn different accounting systems and billing systems

o             Create new Oracle reports as needed

o             Trains new hires in systems and methods

o             Lead on projects within the department

o             Represent department in meetings on various interdisciplinary topics

o             Respond to audit requests

o             Analyzes budget variances

Education.

o             Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or business required.

o             MBA/CPA preferred.

Experience & Knowledge:

o             Five plus years accounting or finance experience required.

o             Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability. 

o             Notable client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills required. 

o             Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required. 

o             Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills & Equipment Knowledge:

o             Demonstrated strong ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel), and general office equipment (i.e., printers, copy machine, etc.) required.

o             Oracle experience preferred.
