Metal Fabricator - Welder (Charlotte)
Metal Fabricator in Charlotte, NC is looking for an experienced stainless steel welder.
The qualified candidate must be able to:
- Perform MIG, and TIG type welds with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon metals while at times being out of position.
- Read and properly interpret a complex set of custom fabrication drawings.
- Possess experience with welding, and then blending, polished stainless steel while TIGing and "walking the cup". This is important so please submit pictures of your work.
- Feel comfortable in cutting, fitting and welding SS pipe assemblies.
*** In all cases, aesthetics are as important as the overall integrity of the weld ***
A written and actual weld test must be performed. Candidate must complete a drug screening process. Hours of operation are 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday along with some overtime when needed.
