TRUCK DRIVER & LABORER
FAIRVIEW, NJ

The Borough of Fairview seeking full-time employees for the positions of Truck Driver & Laborers for the Department of Public Works.

Truck Driver includes, but is not limited to, manual work, safe operation of heavy equipment such as a jet truck, loader, dump truck, sweeper, and smaller equipment.

Laborer is an entry level union position seeking hard-working, motivated applicants. Under immediate or general supervision, applicant will perform various types of manual, skilled, and semi-skilled tasks that include, but are not limited to, maintenance of buildings and grounds, landscaping, storm/sewer maintenance, road maintenance, leaf/brush collection, shoveling, snow plowing, cleaning, and other duties related to public works projects as assigned and as needed. Performs related work when required and may be temporarily assigned, as needed, to work within another Division of Public Works such as Parks Maintenance or Buildings and Grounds.

Successful candidates will be required to work all storm and emergency related incidents, and must be willing and able to work overtime, as needed.  Applications are available on website www.fairviewborough.com and also available at Borough Hall,
