NURSING OPPPORTUNITIES Roane General Hospital in Spencer, WV a 60 bed Critical Access Hospital with 35 SNF/ICF beds, 25 acute care beds, Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, three Rural Health Clinics and a walk-in clinic is currently seeking applicants for Full-Time Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in the following areas: Full-Time Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) Day and Night Shift An Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care and communicate patient needs as a member of the multidisciplinary care team. The Acute Care RN communicates changes in patient condition based upon assessment and evaluates diagnostic values. The acute care RN must be able to stabilize changes in patient condition and delegate care as appropriate. Full-Time Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift Experience in the Emergency Department preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, computer skills and a focus upon customer service are a necessity. Applicants must be licensed in the state of WV and must complete the following certifications within one year of employment: ACLS, PALS, TNCC and Telemetry Interpretation. Applicants must hold a current BLS certification. This position will require weekend rotation. Full-Time Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift with Call Applicants must be currently licensed and in good standing with the state of West Virginia. Previous OR experience, scrub and Central Sterile experience preferred. Must be able to commit to rotating call one week at a time and have a response time to the hospital of 30-45 minutes. Will need to complete TNCC, ACLS, and PALS within one year of hire. Additional requirements include a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service skills. Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Skilled Nursing Applicant must be Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of West Virginia and hold a current certification in CPR/BLS. Applicants must have strong computer skills, strong work ethic, a motivated self-starter with the ability to multi- task in a fast pace setting. Applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule including all shifts and some weekends. Geriatric experience a plus.
