The Family Visitor Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) program provides case management and education through home visitation for low-income, first-time pregnant women and their families from Aspen to Parachute Colorado. Nurse home visitors conduct home visits from the early prenatal period to the child's second birthday. Visits are currently being done via telehealth due to COVID. Work from the office in GWS will be required. Bachelor's degree required. 36 hours a week. Salary based on experience. Competitive benefits include: vacation and sick time, paid holidays, 401K.

Family Visitor Programs was established to address community concerns about increases in child abuse identified by a needs assessment in the 1980’s. The Home Visitor Program began providing services to families in the fall of 1983, as one of fifteen demonstration projects with seed money from a federal Maternal Child Health block grant. In November 1986, the program became an independent not-for-profit corporation. Because of community support, the agency was the only “demonstration” project to survive, and is the longest established new parent home visitation program in Colorado.

The agency provides home visitation services to pregnant women and to parents of young children residing in the Aspen to Parachute, Colorado region. See Our Programs for a description of current agency programs. Our programs are offered to families at no cost, regardless of income.
