Spectra is accepting applications for an Automation and Measurement Technician in the Colorado, Western Slopes area. This is a full-time position and is fully benefited.

The Automation & Measurement Technician installs, programs, inspects, calibrates, samples and provides reports of field equipment.

Duties and responsibilities:

The primary duty is to execute field installs and maintenance of various automation instruments, transmitters, and radios as well as download, troubleshoot, repair and modify RTU and PLC configurations.

· Install and maintain remote communications equipment.

· Install and maintain flow measurement equipment and instrumentation.

· Assist Automation and SCADA engineers in troubleshooting of systems from the field.

· Calibration and verification of field instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

· Various documentation and reporting requirements.

· Provide on-call support to various clients’ automation and SCADA systems.

· Provide documentation of work completed.

· Maintain industry standard health and safety compliance.

· Operate a company vehicle.

· Interface directly with clients.

· Other duties as assigned.

Drug testing and background checks are required.
