Healthcare Economics Consultant

United HealthCare Services, Inc., a UnitedHealth Group company, seeks a Healthcare Economics Consultant for our Pittsburgh, PA location responsible for designing and developing reports and analyzing data to measure clinical outcomes, network performance, and methodology levers.

Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years related progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.

Must have 12 demonstrated ability with each of the following: (1) Interpreting and analyzing data on different healthcare management modules of TriZetto Facets, recommending best approaches and solutions that will be used to create viable, real-world solutions in the complex health care landscape; (2) Designing and planning BI environments, performing analytics and providing data integration solutions by researching and applying new reporting methodologies using SAP Business Objects Reporting Tools, bridging the gap between the technical data environments to present information; (3) Perform data exploration, validation, optimization and troubleshooting by writing complex queries involving Joins, Sub Queries, Nested Sub Queries and Co-Related Sub queries against databases; and (4) Designing, developing, validating and deploying ETL processes using Talend ETL tools. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
