Position Summary Information

Position Summary
Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full-time temporary Instructor for the 2024-2025 academic year to teach/oversee:
Supervision of student teachers (grad and undergrad)
Supervision of field students
Special education undergraduate courses (i.e. SPED 315 or other undergraduate coursework as needed.)
Special education graduate courses (i.e. SPED 617, 625, 648)
Minimum Qualifications
1) Three years successful teaching in public schools.
2) Masters degree or doctorate in special education or related field.
3) Commitment to the education of diverse populations.
4) Successful performance in an interview and teaching demonstration.
Preferred Qualifications
Administrative experience in special education.
