Seasonal Part-Time Parks
Caretaker for the City of Bucyrus Parks including Aumiller Park, Lions Park, and Harmon Field.
Hours:
Saturday 7-9 PM or 6-8 PM
Sunday 7-9 PM or 6-8 PM
Wage:
$12.17 per hour
Job Description:
- Dump trash cans.
- Clean restrooms.
- Pick up trash.
- Clean off tables and wash.
- Leaf blower the shelter out.
- Check the Pavilion and sweep/clean tables.
- Check the playground equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Service Foreman.
Requirements:
- Ohio Drivers License.
- Able to lift barrels of trash to dump, up to 50 lbs.

Seasonal Pool Lifeguards
We are encouraging anyone to apply to become a lifeguard. We have changed the wages for lifeguards to $13 per hour. Concession stand/front door to $12 per hour. All prospective lifeguards have to complete the per-swim portion of their certification at the YMCA before the interview process with the City of Bucyrus. The pre-swim is on May 29 at 5 PM at Bucyrus YMCA or sooner by scheduling through the Bucyrus YMCA aquatics department. The certification class is June 3-5, from 8 AM – 5 PM. For any questions regarding the certification class, contact the Bucyrus YMCA Aquatics Department at 419-562-6218.
