Black Box Network Services seeks a Technical Support Engineer for its office in Lawrence, PA to be responsible for utilizing various diagnostic tools to identify & investigate the root causes of hardware, software, network & connectivity issues & provide thorough diagnostic & troubleshooting services to resolve client issues, particularly as related to offerings linked to Cisco product partnership.

Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field plus one-year experience in the job offered or related occupation. Also requires experience in the Technology Services or Managed Service Provider industry; production environment experience consisting of directly managing routers, switches, global & local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression/caching, & DNS in a high-availability infrastructure; knowledge of cabling, LAN, WAN, DNS based Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) theory as well as legacy networking technologies & system interdependencies; & experience configuring Cisco Unified Communications & Voice networks & Virtualization. Position allows incumbents to work from home in any U.S. state.
